 Finale

Paul Costa - The rising star of PAUL COSTA has burned brightly since 2004 with the release of his debut solo album ‘Walkin' In These Shoes’.  The ground breaking album was a fresh and exciting debut that saw Paul jump emphatically onto centre stage with a string of Top 10 radio singles and a host of awards and accolades.  Paul hails from the Mallee region in Victoria and grew up listening to Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and George Strait.  Since the independent release of his debut album ‘Walking In These Shoes’ in 2004 and ‘Restoration’ in 2007 he has built a loyal fan base and earned many accolades including ‘Independent Artist Of The Year’ in 2006.  Paul Costa’s new album ‘In This Life’ produced by Rod McCormack was released on Compass Bros Records April this year.  Following a successful tour to East Timor to perform for Australian troops, Paul returned home feeling good about his amazing experience overseas only to be named Victorian Male Vocalist of 2008 at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards.  A vocally compelling and charismatic performer, Paul draws audiences in with a bunch of great songs that strike a chord with his audience.  We welcome Paul to the 51st Sunshine Festival.
